As our lifestyle is westernized, cohabitation is increasingly popular. I still do not support this idea.
I think cohabitation does not contribute much to a happy marriage. It is said that cohabitant help us to realize what wrong with our relationships, so we can improve it to reach a happy official marriage later. However, when we are cohabitating, we know for sure that they are just on probation. There is nothing to tie us together. Problems in cohabitation can be solved much more easily than in real life, where we are under a lot of pressure. Many couples find it great to live together but they still have to face unsolvable problems when they really get married.
Cohabitation can hurt people a lot if it is not successful. Its results are extremely serious to women. Girl who have cohabitated are usually looked down by her new boyfriends and especially, by his families. Her past can cause serious conflicts in her family life. Men find it acceptable to cohabitant, but the idea of getting married to a woman who has lived with another man is unacceptable to them!
There are many other risks while cohabitating. We can get infectious diseases and to the girls, get unexpectedly pregnant. It is easy to end up with pains to each.
