Leaving an informal note

Alice stopped at Matt's desk, but he was away so she pick up a self-adhesive notepad and jotted down a short message for Matt. She added the time to the note. Then she signed her name at the bottom and peeled the piece of paper off the pad. She stuck the note on Matt's chair so that he would see it. When Matt returned, he called her.
