A. The weather and seasons (Phần 1-5 trang 134-137 SGK Tiếng Anh 6)

1. Listen and repeat.

a) It is hot in the summer. (Trời nóng vào mùa hè.)

b) It is cold in the winter. (Trời lạnh vào mùa đông)

c) It is warm in the spring. (Trời ấm vào mùa xuân.)

d) It is cool in the fall. (Trời mát vào mùa thu.)

Mùa thu trong Tiếng Anh có hai cách nói: fall và autumn.

2. Practise with a partner. Ask and answer questions about the weather.

(Luyện tập với bạn học. Hỏi và trả lời các câu hỏi về thời tiết.)

Example

- What's the weather like in the summer? (Thời tiết như thế nào vào mùa hè?)

It's hot. (Trời nóng.)

- What's the weather like in the winter?

It's cold.

- What's the weather like in the spring?

It's warm.

- What's the weather like in the fall?

It's cool.

3. Listen and repeat. Then ask and answer the question.

(Lắng nghe và lặp lại. Sau đó hỏi và trả lời câu hỏi.)

What weather do you like?

(Bạn thích thời tiết như thế nào?)

a) I like hot weather. (Tôi thích thời tiết nóng.)

b) We like cold weather. (Chúng tôi thích thời tiết lạnh.)

c) She likes cool weather. (Cô ấy thích thời tiết mát.)

d) They like warm weather. (Họ thích thời tiết ấm.)

Hỏi và trả lời:

- What weather do you like?

=> I like cool weather.

- What weather does your friend like?

=> He/She likes cold weather.

- What weather do they like?

=> They like hot weather.

4. Read.

Hướng dẫn dịch:

Khi trời nóng, Ba đi bơi.

Khi trời lạnh, cậu ấy chơi đá bóng.

Khi trời mát, cậu ấy đi bộ.

Khi trời ấm, cậu ấy đi câu cá.

Now practice with a partner. (Bây giờ luyện tập với bạn học.)

- What does Ba do when it's hot? (Ba làm gì khi trời nóng?)

=> He goes swimming.

- What does Ba do when it's cool? (Ba làm gì khi trời mát?)

=> He goes jogging/ goes for a walk.

- What does Ba do when it's warm? (Ba làm gì khi trời ấm?)

=> He goes fishing.

- What does Ba do when it's cold? (Ba làm gì khi trời lạnh?)

=> He plays soccer.

b)

- What do you do when it's hot?

=> I go swimming.

- What do you do when it's cold?

=> I play badminton/ soccer/tennis ...

- What do you do when it's warm?

=> I go walking.

- What do you do when it's cool?

=> I go for a picnic.
