Các bạn hãy lưu ý các động từ đi với nguyên mẫu thường gặp sau

ĐỘNG TỪ+ NGUYÊN MẪU

1. I hope to see you again soon.

2. He promised to be here by ten.

3. He promised not to be late.

Động từ nguyên mẫu = to+ Infinitive.

to see, to be, to go,....

Động từ + động từ nguyên mẫu, tức:

V1 (not) + to-Infinitive (xem ví dụ 1,2)

(Danh sách các V1 xem bảng dưới).

V + (PRO)NOUN + TO-INFINITIVE

4. Mr. Lee told me to be here at 10 o'clock.

5. The police ordered the driver to stop.

6. I was told to be here at 10 o'clock.

7. The driver was ordered to stop.

Động từ + đại từ/danh từ + động từ nguyên mẫu, tức:

V2 + pro(noun) + to-Infinitive (xem ví dụ 3,4).

(Danh sách các V2 xem nhóm A bên dưới).

Với câu bị động:

Pro(noun) + tobe + P.P + to-Infinitive

(Xem ví dụ 6 và 7).

8. I expect to pass the test.

9. I expect Mary to pass the test.

Ask, expect, would like, want, và need có thể có hoặc không có tân ngữ làm đại từ/danh từ theo sau:

So sánh:

Câu (8): I think I will pass the test.

Câu (9): I think Mary will pass the test.

Nhóm A: Động từ + nguyên mẫu

hope to (do sth), promise to, plan to, agree to, intend to, offer to, decide to, refuse to, seem to, expect to, appear to, would like to, pretend to,  ant to, ask to, need to

Nhóm B: Động từ + tân ngữ + nguyên mẫu

tell sb to, permit sb to, advise sb to, allow sb to, encourage sb to, warn sb to, invite sb to, order sb to, force sb to, ask sb to, would like sb to, want sb to, remind sb to, require sb to, need sb to
