Task 1: Dưới đây là những hành động cần làm để bảo vệ đại dương. Theo cặp, em hãy sắp xếp những hành động đó theo thứ tự tầm quan trọng rồi nói xem việc gì nên làm và không nên làm.

• We should place rubbish and plastic bags in proper dustbins.

• We shouldn't use herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers that harm the environment.

Task 2: Làm việc theo nhóm. Dưới đây là những hiểm họa đối với đại dương. Hãy thảo luận về nhừng hậu quả có thể xảy ra và đưa ra các giải pháp có thể thực hiện được.

1. Bãi biển đầy nhừng túi nhựa, mảnh thủy tinh và tàn thuốc lá.

2. Cá voi và cá mập vẫn còn bị săn bắt làm thực phẩm, thuốc và những sản phẩm khác.

3. Người ta vẫn dùng thuốc nổ để đánh bắt cá và các loài động vật biển khác.

4. Dầu từ các tàu chở dầu bị tràn ra biển.

Task 3: Báo cáo trước lớp điều mà nhóm em vừa thảo luận.

My group has discussed the threats to beaches which are now being polluted with all kind of rubbish such as plastic bags, pieces of glass and cigarette buits, ...etc... And we think that in order to rescue beaches, we should clean them up and at the same time tell everybody not to litter them. Besides these, we should educate people how important a healthy environment can be to our life! And this project should be carried out in schools so that small school population can get a good habit of conserving environment from early ages.
