SNV and Ford Foundation- two sponsors of Sedge Value Chain Development Program in Ninh Binh has implemented this program since June, 2006 based on the cooperation with 2 Local Capacity Builder (LCBs) namely Hanoi University of Agriculture and Handicraft Research and Promotion Centre (HRPC).Overall goal of the program is to improve the competitiveness of selected sedge value chains in Ninh Binh. This will contribute to a sustainable improvement of the income level of the rural poor in Ninh Binh, active in the sedge sub-sector.The report includes how the evaluation of the VCD activities of the Ninh Binh Sedge sector to improve the competitiveness of the selected sedge that can withdraw several lessons and make recommendations of what should be done in the future in Ninh binh Sedge Sector.
